Working for a living is a blessing, especially when it’s something you enjoy. My parents imposed upon me a vigorous work ethic. I was a news-paperboy at a young age. I used my earnings to buy art supplies. Fascinated by the figure, I revered the paintings of Michael Angelo and the Italian masters. I proceeded quickly through pencil, pen, marker, and into the paint. In 1985 (at age 15), I produced my first commission for Maps America in Santa Monica. It was a cartoon-illustrated map of Beverly Hills. Not long after, I sold my first oil painting on canvas, a 7’ wide by 5’ tall oil titled “Black Music.” That was in 1989. My path was presented. I never looked back. I continue painting to this day. My paintings depict scenes of Nature falling to technology. A fiery contrast with the allure of Dali meeting Blade Runner.

I’ve recently begun making The preeminent oil paint I’ve used for over 20 years by hand. Manufacturing premium paint from raw materials. So life goes full circle. Now I make the paint for those aspiring painters who, like me, are captivated by the mystery of the arts, its beauty, and attraction.
